McDonald’s and Davis Elen were in need of an exciting way to bring attention to their McCafe line and they came to Bubba’s to carry out this dynamic, fast-paced idea.
Team Bubba, alongside our director Jonny Zeller, worked to accommodate the tight turnaround for this spot by filming all of the background plates separately from the beverages and compositing the two together. This allowed us to capture the many shots needed to give this commercial the variety of locations it called for.
Another fun thing about this project was shooting it at 8K (’cause why not?) on our new RED EPIC-W! This helped us a ton in post, while we were crushing those chroma keys.
